Noelia Gramajo

Legal Assistant

Ms. Gramajo was born and raised in Milwaukee to immigrant parents from Mexico and Guatemala. Her passion for social justice ignited at an early age, inspired by the privilege of visiting both her parents' home countries. These experiences not only deepened her understanding of immigration issues but also sparked her curiosity about diverse cultures around the world.

From a young age, Ms. Gramajo emerged as a dedicated advocate for immigrants, actively participating in VOCES marches, translating for her parents, and celebrating her family’s culture to promote community solidarity. Having experienced family separation firsthand, she developed a deep appreciation for the second chance life afforded her to stay in this country.

Driven by resilience, Ms. Gramajo pursued a Bachelor of Arts degree in International Studies with a minor in Communication, concentrating in Spanish, at Mount Mary University. Her time there further inspired her to dedicate her life to giving back to the community that shaped her, particularly her immigrant parents.

In her free time, Ms. Gramajo cherishes moments with her family. She recently launched an Instagram support page for mothers, aimed at fostering community among young moms. She also enjoys reading parenting books, traveling, and exploring new cafes
