Marychel Figueroa

Executive Administrator 

Marychel Figueroa was born and raised in the city of Milwaukee, Wisconsin, the child of Mexican parents. She is fluent in both English and Spanish.

Ms. Figueroa is a graduate of Marquette University with a major in Criminology and Law Studies and a minor in Spanish for the Professions-Heritage Speaker. During her time in school, Ms. Figueroa studied abroad in Finland, Estonia, Lithuania, and Latvia. She was also inducted into Sigma Delta Pi (ΣΔΠ) National Hispanic Honor Society.

Ms. Figueroa worked for the Consulate of Mexico in Milwaukee in their Department of Legal Affairs and Consular Protection. During her time there, she helped with the Initiative for the Comprehensive Care of Women (VAIM for its acronym in Spanish) program and collaborated in the preparation of activities and reports for the Foreign Ministry’s Gender Equality program. Subsequently, Mrs. Figueroa was assistant to the Head Consul.

In her free time, Ms. Figueroa enjoys spending time with her family and traveling.
